The Ultimate Digital Transport
Rivo Plus elevates the original Rivo architecture with a dedicated ASIC that handles S/PDIF and AES/EBU output generation independently of the main CPU. The goal is cleaner digital output, lower jitter and more consistent timing.
Enhanced Audio via I2S/DSD over HDMI
I2S over HDMI adds another high-performance connection option for compatible DACs, supporting high-resolution PCM and DSD. Adjustable pinout routing broadens compatibility with a range of I2S-equipped digital converters.
Engineered for Signal Precision
Upgraded MEMS clocks in the USB hub improve reclocking and signal integrity, while low-noise regulation supports the dedicated digital output circuitry. The design is engineered to maintain stable timing and reduce susceptibility to temperature drift and component aging.

Volumio Premium Built In
Rivo Plus runs Volumio and includes Volumio Premium features, with access to supported streaming services, local and network libraries, internet radio, multi-room playback and supported plugins. It is also Roon Ready.
