Primo V3 is Volumio's high-resolution streaming DAC, combining ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M conversion, balanced and unbalanced analog outputs, integrated linear power filtering, ultra-low phase-noise clocking, and Volumio Premium in a compact chassis.

Primo V3 represents a complete redesign of Volumio's core streamer DAC platform. Its ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, integrated linear power supply stage, high-precision clock, upgraded processing platform, and selectable output levels are designed to deliver cleaner digital-to-analog conversion with flexible system matching.
Flexible Digital Connectivity
Connect over Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB, or HDMI. Primo V3 can feed an amplifier through balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA outputs, while its USB output can also connect to an external DAC for ultra-high-resolution playback.

Supported Playback
Supported formats include DSD, WAV, FLAC, ALAC, AAC, Vorbis, CUE, MP3 and others. Supported services include AirPlay via Shairport Sync, Spotify Connect, TIDAL/TIDAL Connect and Qobuz/Qobuz Connect. UPnP/DLNA rendering with OpenHome support is also included, along with supported Volumio plugins such as YouTube, Squeezelite, Radio Paradise, Podcasts, Pandora, Fusion DSP, Roon Bridge, SoundCloud and Mixcloud.
