Esprit Audio’s Nova is a proprietary dielectric polarization device designed to reduce electromagnetic interference in a room. It uses a large dielectric material polarized by a unidirectional electrostatic field, acting as an ultra-high-frequency absorber for microwaves from sources like cell phones, Wi‑Fi, and Bluetooth.
Key features:
- Reduces unwanted high-frequency interference in rooms up to ~100 m².
- Improves sound quality by enhancing detail, micro-dynamics, soundstage, and tonal smoothness.
- Works by filtering ambient EM noise, allowing audio systems to perform more cleanly.
What It Is
The Nova is a standalone box that plugs into any standard wall outlet near your audio system. It requires no other connections — no signal cables, no integration into your rack. It works entirely passively through the air.
How It Works
Using proprietary Esprit technology, the Nova generates a subtle electric polarization field that radiates into the listening environment. The goal is to reduce the effects of domestic electromagnetic pollution, specifically:
- 60 Hz mains field radiation emanating from wiring in walls and ceilings
- Wi-Fi signals
- Mobile phone RF emissions
- General EMI/RFI present in any modern living space
These invisible fields constantly interact with audio components and cables, introducing micro-level noise and instability into the signal chain. The Nova works to neutralize or suppress these disturbances in the air of the room itself, rather than at the cable or component level.
What You Hear
- More silence between notes — a lower noise floor becomes apparent
- Smoother, more extended highs — the treble loses grain or hardness
- More stable, readable soundstage — the imaging becomes more defined
- Greater fluidity and musicality — the system sounds more at ease
