Esprit's Founder, Richard Cesari, has been designing loudspeakers for himself and for other brands for many years. It was only natural that one day, this expertise would be fully dedicated to Esprit.

After more than thirty years dedicated to cable technology, and in the quest for the most faithful transmission possible, the development of loudspeakers seemed like a natural next step: to apply the same high standards not only to the signal itself, but also to its reproduction.

Our research led us to consider speakers that would not betray the original recording while allowing hours of listening adapted to the human ear, without fatigue (with firm and deep bass combined with a natural, soft and dynamic high midrange).

This 2-way system is equipped with an AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter for high frequencies and a 20 cm ALNICO mid-range woofer with bass reflex load articulated by a 6db/octave filter.

The ALNICO 20 cm woofer is equipped with an ultra-light NEXTEL treated paper membrane. Indeed, the mobile crew weighs 13 grams. The 1.2 TESLA ALNICO engine delivers a warm, natural tone with smooth, detailed mids. It combines lightness, rigidity and magnetic stability, guaranteeing a dynamic and precise response.

6 dB/octave filtering ensures smooth transitions between speakers, increased sound consistency, and reduced distortion. Combined with a bass-reflex load, it contributes to optimal low-frequency extension while reducing distortion.

Finally, the cabinet of the 30-mm bitumen-MDF sandwich cabinet combines the rigidity of MDF with the vibration-damping properties of bitumen to reduce unwanted resonances, limit sound leakage, and deliver faithful and accurate sound reproduction.

A solid aluminum platform further stiffens the entire structure and ensures contact with the ground thanks to a needle-type decoupling system mounted on an inverted cone. These are height-adjustable to accommodate any unevenness in the ground.
