For their flagship range, AudioSolutions aimed to create something completely new; with fresh looks, the use of different kinds of materials, and eye-catching lines. This line wouldn’t have classical looks or use classical technical decisions. It would be extravagant and represent their vision in speaker quality standards for any new range that would come after it and give a leading tone to their speaker design as well as differentiate itself among all others.  Mission accomplished.

The pinnacle of all AudioSolutions products, the modern Vantage Series evolved from the original Vantage Classic. The differences are found not only in the outer looks with completely fresh lines and outlines, but also with the choice of manufacturing materials, technique, and the overall evolution of designing such a complicated loudspeaker; evident in this arrangement of many components working in perfect harmony.

The Vantage is designed to be much more rigid in construction compared to any previous models AudioSolutions has produced.  Siberian Birch Plywood (SBP) is used for the internal labyrinth structure as well as for the sidewalls and curved top. Siberian Birch grows much slower than simple birch, thus making it much denser and tighter. The entire structure is modeled with the best software available for resonance free surfaces.  In fact, the properties of this cabinet using SBP results in structure with properties better than aluminum. Due to many bent surfaces, plywood has some internal stress leftover which damps any resonance with ease. This technique of leaving some stress in the materials was used by AudioSolutions from the very beginning. Step by step this technique was developed into what they manufacture today: an 18-layer sandwich of thin rectangular orientated wood sheets along with some High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) in critical layers glued together with three types of glue differing in hardness when cured.

The Vantage M (medium) is the middle-sized speaker within the Vantage Series. Created under the same philosophy as the other products in the range - to have the same scale of sound among all sizes. As the Vantage B is devoted for short listening distances, or the Vantage S for normal distances but for smaller rooms; the Vantage M is devoted to being used in an everyday environment with 30-100 sq m room (or bigger if acoustically treated). Despite being from the "big speaker breed" the Vantage M can look and feel like a smaller speaker in a large room due to its clever design, but it punches with attitude which will remind you immediately that they are most certainly anything but small in performance.

FEATURES

The Vantage M is designed around a 6” wideband midrange driver, supported by a customized beryllium tweeter. Accompanied by a 10" down-firing aluminum cone subwoofer and two front firing 6.5” paper woofers.

As a standard in AudioSolutions products, the mini horn is introduced here to enhance tweeter performance by lowering distortions and raising efficiency in critical regions.

The Vantage M is equipped with an adjustable crossover allowing you to make level corrections, depending on your listening taste or simply to tame a room. Level corrections are limited to a 2.5db window, preventing any tonal disbalance, but making a big impact if one needs to balance the speakers>audio equipment>room combo. The whole network is based only on extremely low conductance resistors, meaning that only the sound level will change when a knob is turned.

The cabinet, decorated with a highly durable topcoat made from crushed stone and polyurethane lacquer, gives the speaker durability and a visual effect of matte surface with glittering particles. It's a very unique and stylish accent which gives off the look of broken stone pieces.

Never used before top-grade 3D vinyl is used to decorate the back and cut-out of the sidewall. Concerns were raised about the durability of such material during the design phase, but damage tests proved that this material is actually tougher than any veneer, leather, or even paint.
